I expect that your business ideas and dreams are really important to you, they certainly are to me and you wouldn't be trying so hard if they weren't. I also believe that you will never give up, you might take different paths and try new things but they will all lead to the same amazing outcome if you want that hard enough.
I have never given up on my dreams even though times have been tough, I remember ever occasion when I wanted to give up but I didn't and I am so glad about that. Whenever you feel that you want to give up this is usually just before a turning point so keep going.
I have written 10 points below to help you stay on track and realise your dreams in your entrepreneurial journey!!
I’d LOVE to hear what keeps you going? please Leave a comment below!
See you next week.
1) Don’t think to much — know and act.
“Don’t think. You already know what you have to do, and you know how to do it. What’s stopping you?” — Tim Grover
2) Don’t let Money motivate you.
I know we all want extra money and getting that bigger house or fast car is a motivation but it should not be your sole purpose, if it is you will give up, think of family, friends, who can you help, what could you do that would be truly amazing once you are successful?
3) Always strive for more
It’s not even about the goal. It’s about the climb to see how far you can push yourself. The journey is life and the details are what makes it exciting, when you have reached your goal make another.
Strive to be the person that you want to be in 10 years’ time!
4) Don’t be afraid of failure.
Most people stay were it’s safe, don't be one of those people.
Don’t worry about falling down, you won’t be able to fly if you don’t try.
There is no ceiling and there is no floor. It’s all in your head.
If something goes wrong pick yourself up and try again, it’s all part of life and could be for a reason. Don’t give up!
5) Never stop learning
When I was at school I couldn’t wait to get home, the only subjects I liked was history and art but now I am in love with learning,
Ordinary people seek entertainment. Extraordinary people seek education and learning. Never stop improving and honing your skills and knowledge.
Knowledge is success!
6) Don’t compete with others.
If you keep to much of an eye on others you run the risk of copying so listen to your own intuition, take your own inspiration and see what comes of this.
Competing with others makes no sense. It pulls you from your authentic self and creates the pressure to produce.
7) Always work on your mental strength.
I love listening to mediation to build my self-confidence and creativity.
Your mind can battle with you on occasions and give you negative thoughts, to change this you should train your unconscious not your conscious mind to believe in you and accept change.
“Mental resilience is arguably the most critical trait of a world-class performer, and it should be nurtured continuously. Left to my own devices, I am always looking for ways to become more and more psychologically impregnable. When uncomfortable, my instinct is not to avoid the discomfort but to become at peace with it. My instinct is always to seek out challenges as opposed to avoiding them.” — Josh Waitzkin
8) Confidence is your greatest asset.
Even if you don’t feel confidant act like you are, your mind will believe you in the end and you will become confidant. Push yourself out of your comfort zone, do those things that you are scared of.
I used to hate speaking in front of a crowd of people but for my business I had to do it and things became easier, I still get the nervous feeling but I ignore it and move on, it takes time be comfortable with this but it’s worth it.
When you’re confident, you don’t care how many times you fail, you’re going to succeed.
9) Choose simplicity over complication.
We all have a tendency to over complicate because we need to feel that we are working hard, the best way to deal with things is to simplify and streamline.
Have a look at your business, what can you do to stream line? What are you doing that is taking too long?
Record what you are doing each day and have a look at your productivity.
In this day and age, we have loads of apps and businesses to help us automate and streamline so look out for them or ask me, I can help.
If you are not sure, find a mentor and ask.
10) Make time for recovery and rejuvenation.
Always make a bit of time for yourself, I know we are busy but you could spend endless amounts of time on your business, if you didn’t have to sleep I bet you would carry on through the night but you can’t.
- Put some time aside for learning
- Time aside for fun
- Time aside to inspiration
- Time aside for working hard
- Time aside for relaxing
Don’t burn yourself out.
“From this point, your strategy is to make everyone else get on your level, you’re not going down to theirs. You’re not competing with anyone else, ever again. They’re going to have to compete with you. From now on, the end result is all that matters.” — Tim Grover
Everything is already within you. All you need to do is trust yourself and act.
Are you amazing!
Have a Great weekend.
